A 14-year-old Hong Kong schoolboy has been arrested for claiming to be a triad gangster on an Internet journal. The boy was arrested at his home on Saturday after allegedly setting up a blog and identifying himself as a member of one of the city’s notorious trad gangs.
Police monitored the blog set up in December last year which gave details of how he had been involved in a fight against a rival triad gang. The case is the first Internet-related case of its kind in Hong Kong, a city in which claiming membership of triad gang is a criminal offence.
